Ergon's GA2 All-Mountain / Gravity grip has superb tactile feel thanks to a super-soft, UV stable rubber compound exclusively developed and manufactured in Germany for Ergon. The ergonomic shape requires less rider grip pressure while specific grip zones matched to the shape of the hand increase tactile feedback and traction. The inner construction varies in thickness to allow greater damping, which results in less ulnar nerve stress. The inboard aluminum clamp holds grips securely, allows even more grip area at the end of the bars, and makes these grips carbon-bar friendly.

The 711 features perfect grip ergonomics for long-distance routes and use in racing XC style mtb. A well thought-out, highly ergonomic shape offers an especially secure grip and maximum comfort, while a full locking inner sleeve allows for infinite adjustment, allowing the rider to get that "just right" feel. The scope of delivery includes one set of grips. Strategic clamp placement increases the shock absorption and comfort on the outside of the hand. In addition, the outside surface area was increased using every trick in the book, making the new 711 Tech and Trail 2.0 as comfortable as a wing grip despite not being one. As round as necessary and as flat as possible: with the 711 grip, the outer contact surface is pressed flat, thus reducing the pressure peaks many times over.
